Edward Lee, with collaborator John Pelan, won the first two official Gross Out contests in 1996 and 1997, for passages from their co-written novella GOON. Lee is the author of over 50 horror, fantasy, and sci-fi novels, and dozens of short stories. He has also had comic scripts published by DC Comics, Verotik Inc., and Cemetery Dance. Many of his novels have been reprinted in multiple countries. He is a Bram Stoker Award Nominee; his Lovecraftian novel INNSWICH HORROR won the 2010 Vincent Price Award for best foreign book (Austria), his novel WHITE TRASH GOTHIC won the 2018 Splatterpunk Award for Best Extreme Horror Novel, and his collaborative novella HEADER 3 (with Ryan Harding) won for Best Extreme Novella.
In 2020 Lee won the J.F. Gonzales Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2009, the movie version of his novella HEADER was released by Synapse Films; several of his novels are currently under option.
Lee is a U.S. Army veteran and lives in Seminole, Florida.
Ryan Harding is the four-time Splatterpunk Award-Winning author of books like GENITAL GRINDER and collaborations with Jason Taverner (REINCURSION, REINCARNAGE), Kristopher Triana (THE NIGHT STOCKERS), Lucas Mangum (PANDEMONIUM), and Edward Lee (HEADER 3).
His short stories have appeared in the anthologies BREWTALITY, THE DISTENDED TABLE, THE BIG BOOK OF BLASPHEMY, THE NEW FLESH: A LITERARY TRIBUTE TO DAVID CRONENBERG, SPLATTERPUNK FOREVER, PAST INDISCRETIONS, MASTERS OF HORROR, INTO PAINFREAK, DOA 3, AND THE YEAR'S BEST HARDCORE HORROR VOL. 3.
His work has also been published in German, Italian, and Polish. Upcoming projects include the collection TRANSCENDENTAL MUTILATION from Death’s Head Press, a novel with Bryan Smith, and a splatter western.
