About the author
Hermann Graml, 1928 in Miltenberg/Main geboren, Historiker, trat 1953 in das Institut für Zeitgeschichte in München ein und arbeitete dort als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter bis 1993. Er war auch geschäftsführender Redakteur der Vierteljahreshefte der Zeitgeschichte.
