About the author

Dr. Himadri Nath Saha completed his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Jadavpur University and M.E. from the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST, Shibpur). He is a fellow of many premiere organizations like the Institution of Engineers India (IEI) and the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (IETE), India, and a senior member of IEEE (USA). He is the author of a textbook on “Database Management Systems. Apart from his excellent academic record, he also possesses commendable managerial skills. He has organized and served as a technical chair of many world-class conferences. He has over 22 years of teaching experience. His research interests include machine learning, IoT, wireless communication, mobile Ad-hoc networks, network security, cryptography, and algorithms. He has several publications in many international journals and conferences with many citations.

Dr. Hena Ray is the Joint Director at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Kolkata, and an Adjunct Professor at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. With a PhD in Instrumentation and Electronics from Jadavpur University, she has over 28 years of research experience in system designing, AI, IoT, robotics, and sensor systems. Dr. Ray holds 11 patents and has published 42 research papers. Her notable inventions include devices for flavor detection, e-tongue technology, and non-invasive metabolic disorder detection, Automation in agriculture. She has received prestigious awards like the Intel Embedded Challenge 2011 Award and the SKOCH Order of Merit. At CDAC, she has led numerous government-funded projects, many of which have been successfully commercialized. Dr. Ray is dedicated to advancing technology, mentoring future engineers, and ensuring her innovations benefit society.

Dr. Phillip G. Bradford is on the faculty at the University of Connecticut. He was the founding director of the computer science program at the University of Connecticut in Stamford. He is a computer scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik. He earned his Ph.D. at Indiana University, an M.S. from the University of Kansas, and a B.A. from Rutgers University. He was on the faculty at Rutgers Business School and the University of Alabama’s Engineering School. He was a principal architect for General Electric. He has a deep belief in bringing real research to practice. He has a handful of best-in-class results. His Erdős Number is 2. He has given over 70 talks in 9 countries, and he is the author or co-author of over 65 articles.
