Shrikaant Kulkarni, Ph.D., is currently working as a Research and Technical Advisor, at Filantrofia Sarvada CleanTech Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India, and as an Adjunct Professor at Padm. Dr. V. B. Kolte College of Engineering, Malkapur, India. Dr. Kulkarni is an academician and researcher for 39 years Dr. Kulkarni has delivered invited lectures and conducted sessions at national and international conferences as well as faculty development programs. He has been teaching subjects such as engineering chemistry, green chemistry, nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, catalysis, chemical engineering materials, industrial organization, and management, to name a few. Haghi , Ph.D., is a retired professor and has written, co-written, edited or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 3800 citations and an h-index of 32, according to Google Scholar database. He is currently a senior material engineering consultant in the UK. Professor Haghi has received several grants, consulted for several major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. He is the Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal. Professor Haghi has acted as an editorial board member of many international journals. He has served as a member of the Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences & Cultures and the Research Chemistry Centre, Coimbra, Portugal. He has supervised several PhD and MSc theses at the University of Guilan (UG) and co-supervised international doctoral projects. Professor Haghi holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two MSc, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a PhD in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France). He is a persistent reviewer of leading international journals.
Theresa Obiajulu Egbuchunam , PhD, is a Professor of Materials Chemistry at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria. She graduated from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, where she received her MSc and PhD in Industrial Chemistry. She also studied abroad in the Chemical Engineering Department of Izmir Institute of Technology, Izmir, Turkey, where she carried out some aspects of the experimental part for her PhD thesis. She has carried out research extensively in her area of expertise and has published more than 45 original scientific papers in local, national and international journals, chapters in books and co-authored several books. Her publications cover topics that include metal soaps from vegetable oils and applications, cellulosic polymers and their applications, epoxidized vegetable oils for poly (vinyl chloride) formulations, nanoparticles, and environmental studies amongst others. Her research interests are in materials chemistry aimed at developing industrially useful, value-added products from locally available resources. She is a recipient of TETFund grants and the research grant scheme from Kastamonu University, Turkey. She is a chartered chemist and professional member of the Materials Society of Nigeria and Chemical Society of Nigeria. She started her academic career as a lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the College of Education, Warri, before joining Federal University of Petroleum Resources, where she was the Head of the Department of Chemistry from 2009 to 2013 and Internal Member of Council from 2013 to 2017. Professor Egbuchunam also served as Director of the SERVICOM Unit and Director, FUPRE LINKAGES Unit (2021–2023). Professor Egbuchunam is presently on sabbatical appointment in the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She has a wealth of experience in teaching, research, and supervision of students’ projects at both the diploma (NCE), undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is a member of the editorial board of the Petroleum Training Journal.
