An absolute eye-opener. This work is incredibly well-sourced, and organizes an astounding amount of revolutionary scientific conclusions into a 'best-guess' history of earth. There would be no greater challenge for a scientific atheist than to deny the 'creation hypotheses' a smidge of credit after picking this book up. Not entirely sure why this is marketed to 'religion and spirituality', as it is a thought provoking work of literature, seemingly meant for the atheist more so than the religious.

Hugh Ross (PhD, University of Toronto) is founder and president of Reasons To Believe (www.reasons.org). He is the author of many books, including More Than a Theory and Why the Universe Is the Way It Is.
