Author Bio: Dian Nafiatul Awaliyah
Dian Nafiatul Awaliyah is a researcher, educator, and advocate specializing in sustainability, creative industries, and social development. She is a lecturer at the Architecture Department of Sultan Fatah University, where she focuses on the intersection of the built environment, cultural heritage, and sustainable urban planning. As a coordinator for research development and advocacy at Muslimat NU Demak, she actively contributes to community-based sustainability initiatives, women’s empowerment, and digital literacy programs.
Dian has an extensive track record of academic and professional achievements, having received numerous grants, fellowships, and awards, including recognition from international institutions such as IASFM, DAAD Germany, NU Scholarship, and LPDP. Her research and activism span various domains, from climate adaptation and creative economy to heritage preservation and social entrepreneurship.
In addition to her academic work, Dian is deeply involved in various national and international organizations, serving in roles that support education, culture, and policy development. She is also an experienced trainer and speaker, having led workshops and training programs on writing, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
