Acerca de este libro electrónico

Joe Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942. He graduated from the University of Delaware and Syracuse Law School and served on the New Castle County Council. Then, at age 29, he became one of the youngest people ever elected to the United States Senate. Biden was re-elected to the Senate six times and was the fourth longest-serving senator in U.S. history. Under President Obama, Biden served two terms as Vice President, playing a key role in foreign policy and domestic affairs. In 2019, Biden announced his candidacy for President of the United States. He was nominated by the Democratic Party and won the 2020 Presidential election, defeating incumbent Donald Trump. Biden's policies focus on a few key issues such as climate change, healthcare, and economic recovery. He has proposed a $1.9 trillion stimulus plan to help recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes direct payments to individuals, additional unemployment benefits, and funding for vaccine distribution. Biden also plans to invest in renewable energy and infrastructure to combat climate change. On healthcare, he has proposed expanding the Affordable Care Act and lowering the age for Medicare eligibility. Biden's career has been marked by his dedication to service and his ability to work across the aisle to achieve bipartisan results. He is now the 46th President of the United States.
