Joe Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942. He graduated from the University of Delaware and Syracuse Law School and served on the New Castle County Council. Then, at age 29, he became one of the youngest people ever elected to the United States Senate. Biden was re-elected to the Senate six times and was the fourth longest-serving senator in U.S. history. Biden also plans to invest in renewable energy and infrastructure to combat climate change. On healthcare, he has proposed expanding the Affordable Care Act and lowering the age for Medicare eligibility. Biden's career has been marked by his dedication to service and his ability to work across the aisle to achieve bipartisan results. He is now the 46th President of the United States.
