Triora, borgo medioevale fortificato nell’entroterra di Sanremo, è conosciuto per il processo alle streghe avvenuto nel 1587. Sulla nomea di “paese delle streghe” Triora ha costruito la sua fama e la sua fortuna turistica.
Esiste però una Triora completamente sconosciuta, fatta di antiche cisterne, acquedotti, passaggi sotterranei e antichi sepolcreti. Nessuno fino ad oggi aveva mai condotto uno studio su queste secolari cavità artificiali che nascondono segreti che tali sarebbero dovuti rimanere. Una forza oscura e terribile che affonda la propria origine nella storia del paese e nel suo sottosuolo sta per essere liberata.
Spetterà a Leonardo Fiorentini rivestire, suo malgrado, i panni di sgangherato e approssimativo investigatore e speleologo per affrontare la grande calamità che rischia di travolgere il borgo.
