This was an interesting story. The first book doesn’t have a lot of action as it is more of a getting to know our characters and the roles they will play. It is extremely well written and developed. We see Pandora as one that wants to be something her family really doesn’t want her to be. Her sister is betrothed and doesn’t want to be. Events are leading up to the next book where I think we will see a lot more action or drama. It is definitely a good read that the story will draw you in.

Pandora wants to be a Watcher even though her mother does not want her to. Her sister Seph is betrothed to Zeus even though she doesn’t like him. He gives her a box that contain the imprisoned the Titans. Both Seph and the box goes missing and now the adventure begins. You are learning who is who. This was a fast and easy read and just gets interesting when it ends. You do learn a few secrets. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book was such an interesting take on the world of mythology that we all know! Learning of these gods and goddesses as individuals with strengths and weaknesses we normally wouldn't see is such a cool take. I can't believe it ended on a cliffhanger but I am so excited to learn more about Dora and Apollo's connection and see what happens in the next book of this series!
