Another winner! This is an entertaining novel that has Maggie searching for a missing mobster. Along the way, she becomes even more battered than usual. Fortunately, her loyal menagerie is always there to lend a hand....er, paw. As Maggie races from one problem to the next, she is forced to face her past, even as she struggles to ensure her future.
