I picked this book up from the library to hopefully augment what I'd been reading online and figuring out on my own. I don't get why the author keeps comparing parts of the API, lifecycle, and Eclispe IDE plugins to .NET of all things. A good bit the examples I've read through so far show very poor java coding standards, and on top of that go against a lot of the Google documents for style and coding for the android devices.

One of the worst programming book I have ever read. Examples are outdated and buggy.
