LOVER FORBIDDEN is the 23 book in JR Ward’s contemporary, adult BLACKDAGGER BROTHERHOOD paranormal, romance series.This is Lyric and Dev's storyline. LOVER FORBIDDEN is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, acceptance and love. The premise is detailed, dramatic and edgy; the romance is fated but struggles in the face of perceived betrayal and revelations of heartbreak and lies; the characters are numerous, charismatic and energetic.

I enjoyed most of this book, but it felt too short, as if half the story was left out. There was way too much filler that didn't need to be there and not enough depth that was needed to make the story complete. Not Wards best by far.

I hope you keep writing these books. I can't wait to find out about L.W and Bitty. To me Phury needs more of his story he never had a fair book. I'd like to know what's going on in his life.
