Inspired by Susan Coolidge's classic What Katy Did, read Jacqueline Wilson's modern day take on the story about the feisty tomboy heroine.

Katy Carr is a lively, daredevil oldest sister in a big family.

She loves messing around outdoors, climbing on the garage roof, or up a tree, cycling, skateboarding, swinging...

But her life changes in dramatic and unexpected ways after a serious accident.

Katy is an irresistible modern version of a much-loved classic. Perfect for young readers of 9+, fans of Hetty Feather and Tracy Beaker will fall in love with Katy and her family too.

This book is by far the best book I have read, I don't have the digital version but I have the actual book. I want to know what happens next. I would rate this book an eleven out of ten. I've read this book about seven times. I want to know if Ryan asks Katy to be his girlfriend again and if she says yes, I also want to know if Cecy will ever ask Richie out, or if Eva will ever be nice. If you haven't read this book I would totally recommend it to anyone aged 10 +. This book never gets old and is pure amazingness. Love you Jacqueline Wilson you are my favourite author.

It drew me in and I loved it. From what I remember of What Katy Did, I assumed Katy would walk again but she didn't and surprisingly I really don't mind. It is an amazing and well written book.
