A quirky, different and utterly delightful take on Vampire Romance. This book is full of humor and charm and tells the story of a neurotic vampire finding love with a confused and bashful human. An unexpected tale of heartache and the healing power of live, even when one is a vampire. I love the quirks of both characters, making it a light hearted read, with enough depth and sexy interludes to keep you turning those pages. A delightful read.

Great read with fun characters, an interesting world, and a HEA. Sage loses her hubby who preplanned funeral she can't afford. She meets Irving when she goes to funeral home to try to make funeral more affordable. She gets put in a vampire meet & greet for a human companion by mistake. Fun ensues as she thinks everything said is a figure of speech until she learns he really is a vampire. Snarky good fun!

Trigger warnings: death, grief, mention of OCD, nervous breakdowns mentioned. This was a fun short novel exploring themes of historical themes, vampires, romance, steam, family issues, identities and being able to love the people you wanna love. I loved the writing, the romance, steam, conversations, character development, family backgrounds, grief, OCD exploration. I loved it all so very much and helped me fall in love with Sage And Irving so deeply.
