Ever since she was a girl with pigtails and a bad case of eczema, Joanna has created little stories and imagined telling them to thousands. As she got older, the eczema disappeared, but her love of writing grew. Joanna graduated from San Jose State University with a master’s in mass communication, and she worked as a reporter for various daily community newspapers, and as a staff writer for a church magazine. She self-published her first book, Paradigm Shifting, in 2009, and she published a dozen short stories and poetry online. Joanna Johnson currently works as a private tutor and freelance writer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She lives in San Jose with her husband, Joshua, and is working on her next novel.
