I really enjoyed reading Anson and Rae Lee's story. I so enjoy reading cop/dective stories who falls for strong medium/psychic and throw in a murder mystery to solve!! Their journey was fast paced, some steamy scenes ( definitely not PG rated!!🫢) the chemistry was there between them, great dialogue, amazing writing and kept me interested till the ending. First thing I want to say is that if you haven’t read Fragments of the Past, I highly recommend you do, so you can read the start of Anson and Rae Lee’s love story. You can still enjoy this book without reading that book, but you’ll have a better understanding of them, if you do read it. Now about amend My Soul. Great 2nd book in this series. If you didn't read Fragments of the Past, I highly recommend it as it gives great background for Anson and Rae Lee. This time, though, he's 100% behind her as they set off to help on an unsolved case. Kaye does a superb job crafting character interactions that have the reader feeling as if they're part of the discovery process. The dual plots are woven seamlessly together as this romantic mystery gradually unfolds.
