Joe Benitez est un dessinateur de comics américain qui a travaillé sur des titres tels que JLA, Superman/Batman, Detective Comics, Supergirl et Titans pour DC Comics et The Darkness pour Image Comics. Il a également cocréé et dessiné la série de science-fiction Weapon Zero et la mini-série de dark fantasy Magdalena : Blood Divine pour Image Comics. En 2005, Joe publie le premier album de la mini-série Wraithborn chez Wildstorm. En 2009, il est intervenu pour finir l'histoire de Michael Turner sur Soulfire.
