Wow i can leave a review without reading or even buying the book! Somehow that seems like a flawed system...im leaving 4 stars because its sort of an above average rating and i like grisham but seriously...the reason i am leaving this review at all is because i saw a couple of so called reviews from users who seemed to be ...well they seemed to be just writing stuff for the fun of it...fyi im going to share this on social media so others understand this weird system!!!

Brilliant novel again by Grisham, his story telling is phenomenal and this book is one of his best for years. I'm sure I have read all of Grisham's books, and although it can't be denied there was a marked lull in quality, some of his recent offerings have been excellent. While this novel isn't a patch on things like A Time To Kill or The Rainmaker, it's certainly one of his best of recent times. Give it a read, you won't be disappointed

From the moment I started reading this book, I was captivated by the story line and the journey of the 4 friends. When I finally finished reading this novel, all I did in the end was to burst out laughing cos I loved the ending. Read it and you won't ever regret it.
About the author
Since The Firm in 1991, John Grisham has published a number one bestseller every year. His books have been translated into 45 languages and have sold over 350 million copies worldwide. Nine have been adapted to film, including The Firm, The Pelican Brief and A Time To Kill.
His first work of non-fiction, The Innocent Man, was adapted into a six-part Netflix docuseries; his second, Framed, highlights work with organisations dedicated to exonerating those who have been wrongfully convicted.
He is the two-time winner of the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction and was distinguished with the Library of Congress Creative Achievement Award for Fiction.
John lives on a farm in central Virginia.
