As you can guess from the title of this review, this is a very humorous book. It is laugh-out-loud in many places. The plot is set in 2030, which gives scope for the author to play on current trends, such as the ever-pervasive use of technology. The characters are funny, provide great contrast to each other, and despite this whole tale being clearly science fiction territory, they are believable. Although this book is pitched at the teen market, I’m 30 years old and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is rollicking adventure that would be enjoyed by readers of any age. I'm 33 and I enjoyed it, as did my 11 year old son! I think this is the first book we have ever shared. It's got a roll call of about half a dozen characters, a few nasty, and a few nice - and a fun plot. There's plenty of little jokes and wry observations. A simple, fun read.
