About the author
Jonathan Cole, Jahrgang 1868, hatte die Idee zu »Dracula junior« in einer Vollmondnacht. Wenn andere Leute schlafen, schreibt er seine gruselig-humorigen Geschichten. Er lebt in einem Cottage in Schottland, zusammen mit seinem Wolfshund Murder und dem Waldkauz Tony. Wenn ihm mal nichts einfällt, dann entspannt er bei nächtlichen Spaziergängen oder trifft sich mit einem befreundeten Vampir auf dem nahen Friedhof.
Falk Holzapfel alias Zapf, 1980 in Berlin geboren, studierte Kunst und Deutsch auf Lehramt und merkte bald, dass er lieber Spuren auf Papier als Noten in Heften hinterlässt. Seit dem Studium ist er als freischaffender Illustrator im Jugend- und Kinderbuch tätig. Zapf arbeitet und lebt derzeit in Wien.
