Eliot and Soren's romance is filled with drama and emotion. I was definitely up in my feels because of this book. I found these characters very likable, and I loved that while they were glamourous, famous and successful, they and their lives were far from perfect, and those very imperfections made them so perfectly relatable. Of my own accord I am posting an objective review.

I enjoyed this "Calcott Manor" story. This is the first story in the series but can be read as a stand alone one. The story is about Soren and Eliot. Their story is nicely developed and very captivating. They are perfect for each other. When she is jilted he sweeps in and whisk her away. These two have a history, will they have a future?

There is a lot of angst and emotion in this story. My heart hurt for all of the challenges Soren had already faced in his life and it bled a little more for everything Eliot was being confronted by. I couldn’t help but resonate with all the negative self-talk and crises of self-confidence she faced. I really liked seeing the way these two lifted each other up while learning to be their own best champions. There are also a number of family secrets hinted at that I’m now desperate to dig deeper in
