Loved this book! The book starts with Lexi agonizing over wedding planning.....errr, rather, her mother's attempts to plan her wedding. Then, Lexi is tasked with an assignment to Brazil and Slash goes with her. Once there, Lexi's little black cloud continues to prove its existence and Lexi's struggle with all things rain forest. I love Lexi and Slash and how they have developed, grown, and changed over the course of the series. The author has made me care about them and feel invested in their lives. If it were possible, I would give this book more than five stars. This series is one of my absolute favorites and is a must read for fans of the genre. This is a stand alone novel, however, the series is so good that you really owe it yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
