Cora is trying to fulfill her father's dying wish when she tracks through the snow to Everett's secluded mountainous estate. He is a man with scars and has closed himself off. Cora has her own personal scars as well. This retelling of a fairy tale classic drew me in and had me cheering for Cora and Everett to get their chance for happiness. It is a well written story that is colorful along with a great plot and setting that is engaging and had me connecting with the characters as I cheered for t

This is a lovely story with a little Beauty and the Beast fairytale likeness. The story is about Cora and Everett. I enjoyed this story and the vulnerabilities of both characters. I liked how their story develops and their romance and feelings grow. This is a fairly new writer for me and I look forward to reading more of her work.
