This review originally posted to the JERR website in the November/December 2012 issue Summary: Ripped from the arms of her chosen one after the judgment of the elder council, Falon now finds herself living with Rafael’s twin brother Lucien, alpha of Pack Mondragon. She resists Lucien for as long as she can, but her body turns traitor. Her heart breaks with every thought of Rafael, but Lucien has a way of waking her making her forget her pain for periods of time. Before long Falon ‘s hatred of Lucien lessens as she catches glimpses of the true man that hides behind his vengeance. Soon enough she finds herself in love with both brothers. While she and Rafael struggle to stay away from each other, Lucien wrestles with the love he knows Falon will always hold, desiring that she love him the same way. But the three may have a destiny even greater than any imagined for a legend has been told of the power of three. The only question is what exactly is the interpretation and expectations of the three affected. But happiness may be a ways away still with several threats looming near … not to mention the discovery of Falon’s true heritage and its potential to destroy both packs. Review: Stick a fork in me and kill me now. I thought I was going to die of heartbreak after the first book and now I am questioning my ability to complete the series. After the knife that Ms. Tabke stuck in my gut with this cliffhanger and maddening, unexpected turn of events, I do not know how much more I can take. But … I WILL finish the series because I want nothing more than to see these three find the HEA that they desperately seek. I started this book off hating Lucien and questioning Ms. Tabke’s motivation for torturing me, the reader. Genius that she is, before too long, I slowly transitioned toward team Lucien. Oddly enough, remembering Rafael whom I still adore, I found myself rooting for team Falon who finds herself desiring both brothers. And the vision she has of all three together … let’s just say that I am firmly in camp reunite all three! I love how Rafe and Luca are polar opposites. Rafe, the tender, loving alpha, fiercely loyal to the pack. Luca, the dark, brooding one who awakens the naughty, blood lust side of Falon. Two men who, together, would make the perfect man. The passion is even hotter than the first book, breaking the rules and crossing that taboo line. Readers will long for Rafe while quickly finding themselves cheering Lucien on. Those who read the first, must read the second. I highly recommend reading in order with the added information extremely useful. Those new to the series are sure to be blown away with the clever twists and emotional adventure Ms. Tabke takes her readers on. Book provided by JERR in exchange for an honest review.
