Her name is Karuna Roy ‘Fiza’. Born on 13th February 1948 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. She is an M.A. B.Ed., a teacher by profession. She took up counselling as a profession after retirement, where her life today rotates around especially parents, teachers and youth. She is now a freelance counsellor contributing to the needs of people in the field of attitude, behaviour, ego, stress, depression and kinds of pressure. She worked as an HIV/ AIDS Counsellor also for 15 years and visited countries such as Canada, Thailand, South Africa, Sri Lana, Switzerland, Mexico, United Kingdom, Nepal and Bhutan etc. She received the prestigious E.H. Johnson Trust Award from Presbyterian Church in Canada for her work in HIV/ AIDS. She has made three short films talking about AIDS, a CD on Ghazals (written, sung and music) by her. She has conducted radio programmes on AIR and FM Rainbow talking to people as a Counselor.
This book ‘Badalti Zindagi Badalte Rang’ is her first book on Shayari. Shayari is her passion. While lecturing she used shayari and realized that it is very effective with people, the youth especially so she has compiled her work and has reached out to the masses. This book talks to you on life and the many changes that come its way.
