About this ebook

The Casella Cousins Novella 3: Finn

He prefers older, sophisticated women who know what they want. Or at least he did, until he begins to see his assistant in a different light.

But she’s done with her stupid crush on her boss. Done, done, done!

Finn Casella was always the shy, reticent one in the midst of the lively, outgoing Casella cousins. When he was young, he liked books and writing more than he liked people. Now a successful independent bookstore owner in the heart of New York City, he’s settling into his life and wants to get back to his unfinished novel.

Millie Morrison worked her way through a college degree in literature and a Masters’ Degree in business by supporting herself with her job in the bookstore. She's generous and sensitive to her friends and customers. But each overture to her boss has been met with cool professionalism. Well, she’s overcome harder things in her life than unrequited love.

Can these two people, with more in common than they realize, forge something new out of his emotional baggage and her starry-eyed optimism? Some interesting plot twists will keep you guessing and rooting for them to make it—together.

Look for cameo appearances by the O’Neils, who own Bailey’s Irish Pub on MacDougal Street.

This was a quick and sweet read. Millie and Finn were a cute couple, especially when trying to figure out their relationship. With business and family issues surrounding them, they realized time was not to be wasted and fell further in love. I loved how they supported and were honest with each other, and I enjoyed the secondary characters popping in and out. I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

We are back in NYC with another of the Casella cousins. This time the story belongs to Finn Casella. Thirty-five year old Finn owns Fitzgerald, a well respected bookstore in the Village. A man whose childhood experiences have molded him into the man he is today. One filled with a great deal of emotional baggage. Millie Morrison, the young store manager , has been secretly in love with Finn for some time. But he’s been ignoring her. That is, until the future of the store is in jeopardy and they team up to try and save it. But when a potential change in their lives occurs, will they be able to agree and embrace it, or will Finn’s past stop him from finding happiness and love? Once again, the author highlights how family dynamics and one’s upbringing do in fact affect the adult individual. Taking the first step to overcome the past, requires courage and determination. As with other stories, it is always enjoyable to have characters from previous books make a cameo appearance and letting us know how they’re doing. This was another entertaining story in this series. Maybe Ronan will get his story soon. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Another great addition to the Casella Cousins. This is Finn and Millie's story. Finn is the owner of a bookstore where Millie works. The building where the bookstore is located is up for sale and Finn needs to figure out what he can do to save his beloved store. Millie has always had a crush on Finn, even though he is quite a bit older than her and frequently buts heads with him. They soon can not deny the chemistry that they share but will need to overcome certain obstacles in life to have their HEA. A wonderful written story with very strong main characters. Plenty of family dynamics come into play, and of course family comes to the rescue. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series. These books can be read as a stand alone.
