About the author
Katie Whitaker is the author of MAD MADGE, winner of the Elizabeth Longford Prize for Historical Biography, and A ROYAL PASSION. She completed a PhD in the history of science at Cambridge University, where she was awarded the Thirwall Prize and Medal. She has also been a Century Fellow at the University of Chicago.
