Anhand von 35 qualitativen Interviews mit jugendlichen Akteuren aus linksaffinen politischen Gruppen untersucht diese Studie, wie sich politisches Engagement im biografischen Verlauf herausbildet, weiterentwickelt und welche prägenden Erfahrungen Jugendliche dabei machen. Darüber hinaus wird erforscht, welches Selbst- und Gesellschaftsverständnis die Jugendlichen vertreten, wie sie zum politischen System stehen, welche Ziele sie verfolgen und mit welchen Aktionsformen sie diese umzusetzen versuchen.
