This book Keshu reminded me of watching Nemo. You become a child with full curiosity to know what is next. The author has smoothly taken as how the young Keshu, the prince and his friends got the skills to survive and how he gets to use it when there is necessity to act on. So much details were given in how to tackle an enemy and how Keshu used the available resources to keep Ratnapuris alive.

Excellent thoughts on climate changes incorporated into a simple story of a family, neighborhood, and community. Simple language and clear thoughts that lead us to the intent of the writer to focus attention on the need for all of us to be mindful of our footprints and the mark we leave around. What I liked was that nothing was free, the Ratanpuris and the Demon Fish both benefitted. Dorai's has added appropriate illustration at each nodal point. A pleasure to read!

This book was captivating for me even as an adult. Promoted an environmental perspective in a very kid friendly, motivating manner. And also gently went over some difficult life lessons! The illustrations were simply beautiful!!!
