About this ebook

When Clara Delany walks into the Aces High Motorcycle Club’s hangout, she’s hit rock bottom. She’s hiding her car from the repo man, she has less than two dollars in her bank account and the only employment she can get is delivering messages for a criminal.

All because of a man. Therefore, she’s sworn off them.

And then she meets West “Buck” Hardy, president of the Aces High MC.

Buck also meets her, and the minute he does, he makes it clear (to everyone but Clara) that they’re starting something. Since Clara doesn’t get that message, she decides to leave Buck and sort out her life in order to come back to him clean.

She’s not gone but hours before life hits Clara with another blow. Which means Buck and his boys have to ride in and save the day. After that, Buck makes no bones about where they stand.

But does he?

Enjoyed the story. Definitely shades of Motorcycle Man with a little different twist, but I loved Motorcycle Man. I can't see Clara accepting what the girls were telling her about biker rules since the way her ex treated her. As usual, some things are left unanswered so, hopefully, they will be answered in the next book. This is not a cliffhanger, though. All-in-all it was a good story. Pure KA.

Let me start by saying I really enjoy Kristen Ashley's novels. I've bought almost every one and have always looked forward to her next novel. I'm sad to say, I was disappointed in this book. If you've ready Motorcycle Man, the story of Tyra and Tack, you will sadly notice too many similarities to the characters in this novel. It comes off as being a poor imitation of a really good story. And honestly, the heroine is a bit of a doormat. I enjoyed this type of storyline the first time around, the second not so much.

A new MC series begins. I’m a huge KA fan. I’ve read almost every book she’s ever written. Some are better than others. West “ Buck “ Hardy is your typical KA alpha male hero. Hot older MC President. And this was because what he did was immediately dip a shoulder, plant it in my stomach, wrap his arm around the backs of my thighs, heft me up and stalk away. Clara Delany has had some really bad luck lately. No More Men!! “Happiness is Pop-Tarts. I wish he got that.” I felt Buck’s body move against mine, and I lifted my head and looked down at him to see he was what I thought he was. Laughing. “What’s funny?” I asked. “Happiness is Pop-Tarts?” “Absolutely.” Lots of great secondary characters to look forward to reading about it future books. There were a couple of things that happened in this book I wasn’t ok with. That’s why I gave it 4 stars and not 5

She’s started the Rock Chick Nation as a way to give back to her readers. RCN has a variety of programs to promote a strong female community and has given over $146,000 to women’s charities.
