I can't let the guys down. I can't let the last few years be for nothing. It’s time to shed the khakis and polos. After all, I am a rockstar, even if I don’t feel like one. I expected the whole process to be miserable, but I didn’t anticipate the stylist to be a gorgeous spitfire who makes me question what’s really important.
My assignment is easy, a makeover for the lead singer of my favorite band. This is what I’m good at, and I’m the epitome of professional the entire time. Ok, I might have fan girled a little bit when I first met him, but who can blame me? He’s so different than I expected. Better. There’s a bad boy hidden under the collar shirts and pressed pants, who knew? It’s my job to make the world see him as the rockstar he is, not to fall head over heels in love.
Tropes: meet cute, forbidden love, workplace, romcom, strong willed FMC, rock star, opposites attract
Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.
She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.
So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
