About this ebook

We all have our own love stories. Some short, some long. Some are easy and some are full of heartbreak. Some of us have found it, some lost it, and some are yet to find it. Every story is uniquely different, but this is mine.

It's messy and heartbreaking. It stretches over decades and I thought it would be lost forever. All it took was one accident to bring the world as I knew it to a stop. I went through a whole series of emotions. After all, I was finally getting a new heart! Life wasn't easy on me though. As soon as I found out who's heart it was, I thought my life was over and I had nothing else to live for… then I was reminded of why I fell in love with the boy next door. But how do I love him when I have his brother's heart beating in my chest?

Tropes: friends to lovers, small town romance, heartbreak, forbidden romance

Letters From A Broken Heart by Kristin MacQueen was such an emotional read. It is what true life and love is really about. Taylor and Easton are neighbors and always there for each other. Taylor needs a heart transplant and the donor ends up being Easton’s brother, who is also Taylor’s late boyfriend. The journey that the book brings us down is amazing. There was nothing unsaid and everything was explained. If you are down for an emotional read I highly recommend reading.

This book is absolutely 💯 phenomenal and definitely will have you enthralled from the beginning until the end. It's compelling and captivating and tantalizing and heartbreaking all in all in one. It's one of the most heart wrenching stories ,but the daries is so hard to read and grab the tissues for this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was such an emotional roller coaster & had me captivated from start to finish. Ms Macqueen crafts the most realistic characters and Taylor & Easton are no exception, they’ll stay with you long after you’ve finished reading. This has tragedy & grief, healing & support, romance & redemption. It’s sweet & complex & will bring tears to your eyes often but ultimately leave you smiling. I loved the journal entries & how they moved the story along revealing secrets, lies, insights & twists.

About the author

Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.

She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.

So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
