His voice is amazing. I listen to him read books every night as I fall asleep. Now, it’s time for me to get my own novel turned into an audiobook, and I know I need to chose him as my narrator. I loved this quick, sweet read. Steph Alex are realistic characters - a slightly socially awkward author & a widowed, single Dad, book narrator accidentally find each other personally & professionally. This is a quick read full of humour, heart & developing feelings. Little Alexia/Alex/Lexi (she’s choosing her name) is adorable and brings extra sweetness. I’m intrigued with James & Jasmine, I’d love to read their story. I’m hoping Kristin makes this into a short story series.

This wonderful story is heartwarming and had me connecting with the main characters Steph and Alex. He is a narrator who likes her work, and she likes his as well and wants him to be the one to narrate her book. When they meet it is like the stars align for them and sparks ignites between them. Will it lead them along the road to finding happiness together as well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.

She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.

So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
