The book is not the book you actually need to read. It's more of an introductory and 'good-to-know' kind of book. If you have NO ideea about html5 and/or javascript its a good read. But if you do..well, don't even bother. Its simply not worth your time.

not a book, giving a rather shallow overview of web tech history and html5 itself. You're probably better off reading wikipedia instead.
