I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a love story between Lexi and Nico. These two are opposite in many ways but find love together. He is the bad boy from the wrong side of town. She has grown up with wealth and privilege. The story is told in bits of their past and present which made for an interesting read. It was always easy to follow and I liked that we got both of their pov. Nico is going to do whatever it takes to keep them together. I thought that the storyline was great. The characters were perfect for each other. I am looking forward to book two in the Texas Bad Boys series I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

In-depth and Emotional The story has two timelines, current day, when Lexi is about to get married, and the past, when she and Nico are in a emotional and steamy relationship. I liked how the timelines flipped between chapters, but that it was clear from the icon at the start of the chapter as well as the chapter name which timeline was the focus of the chapter. I also liked how flipping between timelines kept me in suspense for longer. The chemistry between Lexi and Nico is some of the best I’ve ever read, and the ending made me smile so wide! What a wonderful story.

This is an addicting read about the bad boy and the girl from the opposite side of the tracks. It is nicely developed and draws you. Lexi and Nico are so great together. I really like how things developed between them from the young to the current.
