About this ebook

Poems, prn (Latin: pro re nata) is a compilation of recent poems by Larry Troxel. He separated them into two groupings; the first consisting of poems that are more about the lighter and serious sides of life, and the sweet feelings and inspiration that evolve there from. From those selections his associate James Atkinson, an accomplished musician and composer, has created and recorded beautiful songs on a CD Music and Poetry From the Heart, with poems such as My Soul, The Flowers Say, Touchings, and Waves. The second group is poems that paint, in the brightest colors, his religiosity, principals of faith, devotion and church. It is his hope that some may find what he has written to be interesting, agreeable, and maybe even inspiring, prn.

About the author

Larry Troxel was a sheriff's detective, district attorney investigator, and is now a Certified Legal Investigator in California, totaling 43 years. He is a contributing author to many professional investigative publications, winning some publishers awards along the way. With his recent publishing of Poums Salms & Felosophy and now with Poems, prn, he detours from the forensic sleuthing of “who dunnit” cases and “just the facts, ma'am” reporting to composing his observations and beliefs in the rhyming world of inspiration, life and history. He learned, as hopefully readers will, that there can be more meanings condensed in a word than in its sentence, more value of thought in a verse than in a page, and more feelings and interpretation in a poem than in a book.
