Grimm Academy Volume 4: A fantasy fairy tale & legend academy romance collection

The Fate of the Crown duology were the first 2 stories for this volume and I devoured them. It was really nice to see them fight together and come together in different ways while still holding onto their friendships. The third story I am not so familiar with but it does have similarities to Mirrors and Magic. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Almost Queen I approached this with a great deal of trepidation. The Arthurian legends are near and dear to my heart and I couldn’t think of a way the author would be able to turn one of the most infamous love triangles into a happily ever after. I can safely say I am pleasantly impressed. This story takes the broad strokes of the original, the details that make it recognizable, and tips the whole thing over on its ear. If only the original could have been salvaged with this little bloodshed

I really enjoyed this set of tales. I have always enjoyed Fairy Tales and to see retellings done so well id refreshing! I never heard The Snow Queen as a child but it has since become one of my favorite tales. And I liked the combo of Almost Queen and Rightful King.
