A test of love. Sariah is an assassin in the House of Dagworth like her sisters. Their father gives targets and their House gains wealth with each job. They are unemotional. It's how stay to sane when the next target could be someone you like. Even marriage is to get close to a target and then kill them like Sariah has done four times. This time is different. This man is different. Duty or desire…which will triumph? This backstory satisfies my curiosity about Sariah. What a fascinating series!

An assassin love story, I love it! For a short there is so much intensity and emotion packed within. I love the world the story is set in and we even get a peek at the main characters from the series which was cute. Danger, star crossed love, action and assassins can’t beat that combo in my opinion. Great story! I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
