Hexagon woes! The heir to a powerful witch line is dead and the evidence points to murder. Amy and Ambrose have their hands full trying to investigate the case while being stonewalled by the magical community. This is a well-written story with a good mystery. I love Herbert! I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I'm glad Ambrose and Amy are engaged. The investigation was interesting due to the politics but in the end the reason was pointless for the killer's goals.

Witches and drama galore lol. I don’t know that any other words could describe this book better. Yes there’s the usual cast of characters and a murder to solve but really it’s all about the drama. I really loved seeing more of that side of Amy’s life. And the Hexagon takes bureaucracy to whole new levels of crazy.
