I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. The Fox and the Viscount - It's a short story but I enjoyed it very much. To me Foxes, seem to be fun. The way they play or scamper in the woods. This story had that feel to it. The Peacock and the Wallflower - A very beautiful story. Society in England in the What! 1800's. To me that is nuts. The author did not get to involved with telling us about the decor or anything. I am very thankful for that

The Fox and the Viscount Oh my gosh! That was just so unbelievably sweet. In sort of a frenemies to lovers twist, childhood playmates Victoria and Edmund, learn that the dictates of society and those of their hearts may not be completely different after all. The Shifter Season is a box set of three paranormal regency romances with shifters. As always with Laura Greenwood the writing is well done, the stories are captivating, and the characters are interesting and fun. Here is my review of one of the books in this series. The Fox and the Viscount is book one and a great start to The Shifter Season series. Victoria and Edmund are fox shifters and childhood friends who are at a society event when they make a friendly wager on who will get engaged first.
