About this ebook

Few foods make us feel as cozy and nostalgic as pie. Growing up, you may have anticipated your aunt's Dutch apple pie at Christmas, your mom's perfect pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, or the flavor explosion of summer fruit pies made with local strawberries, blueberries, or cherries. But for many of us, baking pies feels intimidating, frustrating, or too labor-intensive. It's so much "easier" to buy a premade pie, and yet storebought pies never seem to deliver that flavor or feeling you remember.

The Homemade Pie Cookbook is here to help! With delicious recipes, gorgeous photos, and clear instructions that take you step-by-step through the entire process of baking the perfect pie, this book will convince you that you can bake the pie you grew up loving--as well as many more you always wanted to try.

Emphasizing being "made with love" over being picture-perfect, the recipes range from the familiar to the unique, like Creamsicle Chiffon Pie, Chocolate Hazelnut Baklava Pie, and Brown Butter Toffee Ice Cream Pie, as well as savory pies such as Samosa Pie and Tomatillo, Chicken, and Sweet Corn Galette. Maybe best of all--every recipe has a photo.
