This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author. There are great characters and a wonderful plot in this overtly Christian story. The story has some really sad, heart-rending stories shared between characters, but they are few and don't leave the reader in those darker places. The romance was realistically slow building. There was a little preaching at one of the characters, but mostly it was reminding him of what he already knew... that he'd hardened his heart to. I wholeheartedly recommend this one!
