About this ebook

Aden explores the variety of faith responses to its ultimate test: death. In the face of death, whether that of a loved one or our own, our faith can either regress or recover. It regresses when it sinks back into reliance on the self. When it recovers, we emerge with a deeper understanding of God and cling more zealously to God's promises. As Aden shows, faith and doubt exist side by side; just as we are always sinners, we are always doubters on the way to becoming believers. Growth in faith means an everincreasing ability to turn to God's Word in the midst of despair.
