Saylor was just trying to find a place that will let her reset her life from what it was, she didn’t expect that the cottage she rents will give her another chance with the boy who went away. What happens next will have its readers fall for the unexpected second chance story that includes a single dad.

The characters were easy to relate to and I found myself riveted to Marshall and Saylor’s second chance at love story. Marshall has finally been discharged from the military and has returned to Sanibel Island with his teenage daughter Hayden. However, he has a hard time coming back to civilian life after so many years in the military. I really like Marshall, swoon worthy, protective, dependable and Saylor who is smart, sassy and feisty. The chemistry between them smoulders.
