Taken by Satan: But Jesus Paid the Ransom

There are 21 chapters in the Book of John. The first 12 chapters talk about Jesus leaving the bosom of God the Father while the remaining nine chapters, His return to the bosom of the Father with the redeemed. 

The beloved Son of God began His salvation journey from the Holiest Place and moved pass each furniture piece to reach the Altar of sacrifice (Cross) and offered Himself as the perfect sin sacrifice. Thereafter, He proceeded with His return journey to heaven from the Cross after being raised from the dead.

The evil one imagined that he had managed to hold God to ransom by forcing Him to either punish fallen mankind whom He so dearly loves or lose His throne by doing otherwise. In other words, a ransom price must be paid in order for God, the Supreme Judge, to have a righteous basis to pardon fallen mankind of their sins and to continue blessing us.  

The beloved Son of God in human flesh as Jesus Christ and Him crucified provided God the righteous basis to forgive our sins and to bless us unreservedly.
