About this ebook

Against all odds, a lonely scientist and a soft-spoken Alien find each other in the vast expanse of space.

Vivian has been isolated in her research center for over seven years when her Pen Pal, Altair surprises her with a planet-side visit. She is stunned to meet the golden-skinned alien she has been talking to for so long. The moment she feels his scorching hot touch, she doesn’t care about their differences and cannot wait to discover his body.

Altair fell in love with Vivian's mind and voice and when the opportunity presents itself, he can’t wait to meet her. When they do, sparks fly, his body responds and he doesn’t want to leave the planet without her.

When their time together comes to an end will Vivian choose to continue her research or go with her Alien Pen Pal to discover galaxies together?

Excerpt:

The doors opened with a whoosh as my heart leaped up. The steam faded away and before me stood a golden-skinned alien. My mouth opened, but no sound came out. I knew aliens existed, but I’d never seen one in real life before.

“You are human,” Altair said, looking at me with massive yellow eyes holding a bouquet of something resembling flowers.

“You’re… not,” I blurted out, not sure what species he was, but definitely not human.

He looked similar to what I always imagined dragons would look like if they existed. His face was reptilian, with an elongated mouth, sharp teeth, and eyes that stood on the side of his head. The hand that had a dead grip on the bouquet only had four fingers instead of five and sharp nails on the tips.

“I am of the species Scrondok,” Altair said, putting his hand on his snout.

The movement was so foreign to me that I burst out in laughter. Maybe it was the lack of human contact for so many years or the unexpected fact that my pen pal lover was an alien, but it all came out of me in the biggest laughing fit I ever had.

Altair looked surprised but soon joined me until I had to sit down from laughing too hard. My sides ached, and I had to catch my breath to keep my head from spinning. He kneeled in front of me with a big smile on his face that showed off his sharp teeth. The sound of his voice was so familiar that I didn’t even feel an ounce of fear. It didn’t matter that he was an alien. He was still the male I had spent hours talking to.

“How is it possible that I know almost everything about you except that you’re an alien?” I asked as soon as I caught my breath.

“We are both aliens on this planet,” Altair said with a smile, shaking his head. “It just never occurred to me to ask your species.”
