I got to read Rock Star before the release date. This author can write a seductive love story which is wildly entertaining. McKenna finally meets her rock star crush when he stays over in Henderson after a concert. You can expect all of the crazy shenanigans that always happen in this North Carolina town and you will enjoy visits from many of our familiar characters. This book certainly surpassed my already high expectations and turned out to be nothing at all as I expected. How is it conceivable to be caught in a love triangle, realize you wanted a family not the man, and then surrender your heart for the very first time to true love? Is it possible to fall in love with an alpha male who treats you as his equal? Yes! The hero’s smoldering passion seduces McKenna into a raging storm of desire and she is certainly not left wanting. He has no intension of relinquishing his desire for the women he cannot get out of his mind. Every single book in the Heroes of Henderson Series has been a much loved romance with Thor being my favorite until now. But, THIS…oh, this is a read worth reading. The character development is some of her best and I believe much of the author’s personality is revealed to us through McKenna.

Another great addition to the Heros of Henderson Series. I've read all in the series and also listened to audiobooks also. You dont have to read in order...but it's better when you do. It is so much fun to have past characters show up in the newer books to see what they are doing. This hero in this latest book is a rock star and meets the girl of his dreams (the heroine), and she blows him off because she is practically engaged to another guy whose family she is in love with. It was fun to see the tables turned on a famous rock star having to work to get the girl instead of them falling at his feet. It's a nail biter till the end!! Really enjoyed it, and anxious for her next book. Liz has really done a great job telling the story of the City of Henderson. Makes you want to live there! Rock Star oh yeah this was so good! Get ready for another hilarious, sweet and sexy Heroes of Henderson book. God these books are just so great I don't ever want them to end. McKenna and Xander have been together since the summer started and Xander's parents couldn't be happier but they don't the secret that Xander has been hiding. Jagger Yates has been waiting for eighteen months for the girl that walked away from him. When he was standing in Red's wine store in walks the girl of his dreams he just couldn't believe his luck and he was not about to let her walk away again with getting her phone number this time. When he found out that she had a boyfriend he was so not going to let that stand in his way. He would figure out a way to spend time with her no matter what he had to do. This was such a great book you will not want to put it down.

About the author

Growing up every summer in a place where dancing and romancing are literally part of its theme song, Liz Kelly can't help but be a romantic at heart. And since her favorite author, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss wrote some of the world's greatest romances, she's just trying to give the world a little more of that. (Okay, maybe a little sexier that, but we are now in a new millennium after all.)
