Having to get away from an ugly situation in California, Josie decided to come to New York to settle an employee problem. While there, Josie meets Dana Vaughn, a beautiful young woman who is twenty-five years old, at an Aids Fundraiser. Finding Dana to be intriguing and someone she cant get out of her system. Josie finds herself going against the pact that she had made with herself. She begins to pursue Dana who is in an abusive relationship, one in which Josie is determined to get her out of and into her own life.

About the author

Lois Percente was born in Englewood, NJ and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a proud mother of one son, named Steven.

After experiencing some vision problem, she returned to school to further her education. She has since obtained her Associates of Arts in Business, a Bachelor of Science in Communication and is presently working on her Masters in Higher Education.

Having met her now wife Joanne via MySpave, (like the fiction she writes) moved out of New York to Chicago, IL to be with her. The two women were married last year and have recently celebrated three years together. They presently live in Atlanta, GA with their five furry children (2 dogs and 3 cats).
