I absolutely loved "Ghost Ops #4 - Kane" by Lynn Raye Harris. From the first page, this story gripped me with its perfect mix of sizzling chemistry, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and the kind of emotional depth that makes you feel every word. Kane is the brooding, wounded hero you can’t help but fall for—tough on the outside but so achingly vulnerable underneath. His grief and determination to never love again felt real and heartbreaking. Daphne was an amazing heroine: strong, resilient, and easy to root for. Her haunted past added depth, and her fierce desire for a new life in Sutton’s Creek made me ache for her happiness. The small-town setting was charming and immersive—I adored the sense of community, the book club scenes, and the camaraderie among the Ghost Ops team. The glimpses of the other men made me excited to catch up with past heroes and desperate for more books in the series. Harris has crafted a story that’s both thrilling and deeply emotional, proving that love can heal even the deepest wounds—and that some hearts are absolutely worth fighting for. I devoured it in one sitting, and I’m already counting down the days until the next Ghost Ops book!
